If you're looking for a Mexican gastronomical feast with a little taste of adventure without the men in sombreros singing in groups with their vihuelas and maracas, La Fonda restaurant is the place to go.
La Fonda is a casual dining place which serves Mexican and American cuisines. The owners are obviously very keen to providing utmost customer service in terms of location, place, providing additional products and of course affordable and good food.
The contemporary design of the building is already an attraction itself. You cant help but notice when you pass by walking or jogging on the seafront. Interior is very minimal inducing little touches of the Mexican heritage.
This may be different from Mexican restaurants you have visited elsewhere where they are usually lively and fun but they nevertheless capture the Mexican spirit through their food. The restaurant is friendly most especially for Saudi Arab family. This is dining at its best as you get to enjoy good meal and a breathtaking view of the sea.
With the introduction of coffee drinks in their menu, I could say that this is the best place to have coffee with friends in the area.
I just wish they serve breakfast and I hope the menu books get to improve.
